Lost Classmates|Class Schedule|Attendee List *Homecoming Schedule has been updated as of August 22nd, 2012*
Dear Class of ’92,
Where has the time gone? Twenty years have passed in the blink of an eye since we first received our beloved X-rings. The tremendous anticipation that we all felt, counting down the days until the 3rd of December was really a warm-up for all of us, as we prepared to enter the “real world” after graduation. The “real world” was a heady adjustment for us, as we tried to find our way in this world. Our paths, once so predictably defined by the borders of campus and the streets of Antigonish, would soon diverge into all walks of life and all over the globe. Though we had left X, we all carried a little bit of it with us wherever we went. The sterling education, the bonds and friendships forged through four years of hard work and play, indelibly marked us as Xaverians.
Twenty years seems like a lifetime ago as many of us find ourselves being very busy with family, work and life in general.
On September 28, 29 and 30, 2012, why not come home and see how far we have all come. Re-kindle old friendships, relive some of the past, and enjoy making new memories during a weekend full of fun, friendship, and nostalgia.
Enclosed are the homecoming schedule and a list of local accommodations. Be sure to reserve your room now, as accommodations become booked very quickly for that weekend. If your hotel of choice is booked, ask to be put on their waiting list as rooms do become available during the summer months
Alumni Affairs plans a full schedule of events for the weekend. To register for homecoming (it’s free), purchase tickets, get updates on our class events and to see who else is coming, please visit our class website at www.alumni.stfx.ca/classof1992. Some events, including the Welcome Home Dinner and our class reunion dinner, will require advance commitment and registration for ticketing so don’t miss out. Use the enclosed registration form (also available on our class website) or contact Alicia Mika in Alumni Affairs with any further questions or concerns regarding registrations (email@example.com or 902-867-3760).
Enclosed you will find a complete list of weekend events. Beginning with registration, bright and early Friday morning, each day will end with a formal dinner and of course the popular, pub nights. You will also not want to miss out of the 5K Fun Run, the Homecoming football game, the Alumni Mass and the Farewell Brunch. The class of 1992 will have a special class dinner on Saturday night, but we’re sure that we will all be looking out for ’92 nametags as soon as we arrive on campus.
We hope to see you all there!
