The Strait Highlands Chapter had a successful celebration for St. FX Day and is now working on upcoming events. Since email is the most cost effective method to get in touch with members, we want to update the email distribution list. I am asking that St. F.X. alumni from the Strait Highlands region email me at ellen.cecchetto@nscc.ca so that I will have your current email address. This email will not be used to solicit donations only to advise you of upcoming Alumni events. If you want to become involved in the Chapter or have an idea for an event, please get in touch with me! Approximately fifty X grads and
friends gathered in Judique on Dec. 3 to celebrate mass at St. Andrews’ Parish
and to honor our Patron Saint, Francis Xavier.
Mass was celebrated by Fr. Allan MacMillan, class of ’61. A reception followed at the home of Morag
(MacDonald) Graham, ’61. The evening
started with a rendition of our St FX song, Hail and Health and a “blue” toast
to our X friends followed by an evening of stories, food and songs. Music was provided by Bill MacDonald and
Melanie Holder.
